BITEC Ltd. & Co. KG offer clear advantages in the automated use of the low-emission fuel in specially designed pellet heating systems and stoves. While the firewood and wood briquettes are supplied by hand in chimney or tiled stoves, both the fuel supply into the combustion chamber and the regulation of the combustion are automatically controlled with a pellet heating system or a pellet stove.

What is pellets en plus? ENplus is an EU-wide wood pellet quality certification program based on the ISO standard ISO 17225-2. Every ENplus-certified wood pellet producer and trader gets their own Certification Seal, which includes the ENplus Logo and a unique ENplus ID.

What are the essential characteristics of pellets en plus?
Because they are the non-combustible element of the product, a good grade pellet should yield little ashes. Because traces of heavy metals are also present in the ashes, a high-quality product that burns without ash can provide a large quantity of heat without damaging the environment.

DINplus or ENplus certified pellets

DINplus wood pellets have a German certificate from DIN CERTCO Society for Conformity Assessment mbH. Alternatively, there is now an ENplus certification program that defines the technical requirements for wood pellets in the internationally valid ISO 17225-2 standard. In Germany, the program is administered by Deutsches Pelletinstitut GmbH. ENplus offers an enormous advantage in the strict regulation of slag formation in the ash during the combustion process of wood pellets. In the beginning, we unfortunately completely lacked this regulation with the DINplus certification and caused a lot of trouble for most consumers. Strictly speaking, these wood pellets must no longer form slag when burned. DINplus &

These wood pellets are ideally suited for small firing systems and are even a must for the newly acquired heating systems in order to maintain warranty claims.

Industrial wood pellets: As a rule, there is no advertising for industrial wood pellets in Germany. Firstly, they are much cheaper than the DIN + pellets and, secondly, the industrial pellets are not suitable for small combustion systems. However, for all larger systems that are used in agriculture, industry or trade, the industrial pellets are a real inexpensive alternative. We carry industrial wood pellets of above-average quality with an ash content of less than 1.5% and a calorific value of approx. 17-18 MJ / kg. Industrial pellets are currently only available from us in big bags.
